How to Create a Landing Page (Funnel)
What is a landing page (funnel) and how is it different from your main website? Your main website is like your digital storefront. It shows who you are, builds trust, and gives visitors multiple ways to explore. A landing page has only one job: get the person to take a specific action—like signing up for a webinar, booking a call, or downloading a lead magnet. A funnel can include one or more landing pages as well as subsequent steps on separate pages (registry page, thank you page, etc).
When should you use a landing page?
When:
Promoting a specific offer or event (e.g. you’re going on a podcast and want to send that audience to a specific sign-up page or lead magnet)
Running ads or JV campaigns
Guiding people to one clear next step (like filling out your investor profile)
Did you know? Your account already includes a landing page created to get people to sign up for your lead magnet.
Instructions to create a new landing page:
Go to your AIP dashboard menu > Sites > Funnels > + New Funnel
You can browse the templates if you like, or keep it simple and select “From blank”
Name your funnel and click Create

You can add multiple steps or pages to your landing page funnel (e.g. webinar sign-up page > thank you page).
Click on + Add New Step or Import
Name the page and click Create Funnel Step
Now you can start to edit/design the page 2 ways:
Use existing (copy over a page from another funnel or website on your account). This option is good if you’ll be using a similar format (e.g. editing an old webinar page copy for a new upcoming webinar)
Create from Blank. This is a good option for a new design you haven’t used or created yet.

For more information on editing/customizing a new page, please see this tutorial.
To change the name and URL of a step/page, click on the Publishing tab, and be sure to save any changes you make (remember, your URL is what shows when people visit the page — e.g. greatinvestments.com/webinar).

Along the top, click on Settings to change the funnel name and path and to connect a domain. (You must select your domain from the drop down to connect it. Otherwise your landing page will not be live.)
Make sure you click Save in the bottom right corner before exiting the settings page.
