This tutorial will teach you how to manage and filter your contacts page.
Click on the menu item Contacts
Along the top of the page you’ll see several icons. You can use the first icon to manually add a new contact (to import contacts in bulk, please see this tutorial)
The next icons can only be used after selecting 1 or more contacts using the checkbox next to their name
Pipeline Change: Add contacts to a new pipeline or move them to a different stage in their current pipeline
Add to Automation: Add contacts (or schedule them to be added) to an automated workflow
Send SMS: Send or schedule a text message to be sent to selected contacts
Send Email: Send or schedule an email to be sent to selected contacts
Add Tags: Add a new tag (or tags) to selected contacts
Remove Tags: Remove a tag (or tags) from selected contacts
Delete Contacts: Delete selected contacts (**note: deleted contacts can be viewed and recovered in the Restore tab at the top of the Contacts page. To return to the main list of contacts, click on Smart Lists at the top of the Contacts page)
Send Review Requests: Send contacts a request to leave you a review on Google (or another platform/browser you have review links set up for)
Export Contacts: Export 1 or more contacts as a .csv file
Import Contacts: Add contacts in bulk to your CRM (please see this tutorial for further instructions)
Email Verification: Verify email addresses for multiple contacts at once (verification ensures emails reach intended recipients and prevents emails from bouncing or prompting spam complaints)
Add/Edit to Company: Add contacts as members of a Company (Companies can be added in the Companies tab at the top of the Contacts page. This feature helps you see at a glance which contacts are employed at the same company)
Bulk Whatsapp: Send contacts a message on Whatsapp
Merge up to 10 Contacts: Sometimes contacts may be added more than once in the CRM (manually or through an automation) with different information (e.g., multiple valid email addresses, phone numbers, etc). This function allows you to merge that information into a single contact
Click on More Filters
There’s many different things you can use to filter contacts, for example if they have or don’t have a specific tag, the date the contact was created, their company name, the last time they opened one of your emails, etc…
Example 1: You want to view all contacts with a specific tag
Example 2: You want to view all contacts NOT in a specific automation (**Note - you can use the search bar to find filters faster)
You can also combine filters using the + AND / + OR feature.
Let’s say you want to view all contacts created within a certain date period (e.g. the past 30 days) with a specific tag
Click on More Filters > Created
Select Range and fill in the date range, then click Apply
Click on the + AND button
Click on Tag > Is, and then select the tag(s) you want to show, then click Apply
You can use the + OR button the same way to include all contacts with one condition OR another
