Editing Emails in an Existing Automation

If you are on the Pro or Influencer plan, your account already includes 2 pre-written email follow-up series. This short lesson will show you how to view and edit the emails in those automated follow-up series. (If you are on the Starter plan, please see the previous lesson for instructions on how to create your own follow-up series automation.)

  1. From your dashboard, click on Automation, then select the automation/follow-up series you would like to edit

  1. Click on the email you would like to edit, which will bring up the settings on the right-hand side.
    **Note** In the email content you may see certain words surrounded by two brackets (e.g. {{contact.first_name}}). Those are called custom values, and they are designed to automatically fill in with given information, such as the client’s name, your business name, etc.

  2. Be sure to save any changes you make in 2 places: first in the emails settings (bottom right corner) and also in the automation (top right corner)
