Connecting the Social Planner

To start connecting your social media accounts, go to the Marketing tab, then you will be on the Social Planner page.

Let’s start by connecting Facebook. Simply click where the button that says, “connect Facebook”. Then you will see a page like this appear, and click “Continue as you”

Next, it will ask you which page you want to connect. Choose the business page you’d like to connect and hit “add”.  

Let’s connect another social media account like LinkedIn. Click the button “connect LinkedIn on the Social Planner page. The next page that will appear may ask for your login information like this picture shows below.

Put in your account email or phone and your password, then hit sign in. You will then see another page appear requesting access to your LinkedIn account. By hitting allow, you are allowing Lead Connector access to your account details so you can use the Social Planner to the full extent.

Once you’ve granted access to your account, it will ask what pages you’d like to connect. Click the page(s) you wish to connect. If you see an alert like the one shown in the picture below, it means you haven’t created a business page for that social account. The Social Planner feature is designed to help you market your business, so to post and schedule posts with the Social Planner, you need to have business pages for your social media accounts.

Once you have the social accounts that you want to connect added, refresh the page. You will then see the page change to look like the picture below. From here, you can add and schedule postings, group your social accounts, connect other accounts and much more!

The process for connecting other social media accounts like X, Pinterest and Youtube will be similar. You will either put in your login information or it will find your login information and all you have to press is “Continue as you”.
